WHOLESALE TERMS & CONDITIONS

MINIMUM ORDER QUANTITY
Soaps: Our minimum order order value is £100.
Bath Bombs: Our minimum order value is £100. The Minimum order variety of each bath bomb is 10.

SAMPLES
Should you wish to try some of our products before placing an order, we will happily send some mini soap samples subject to a small fee.

PLACING AN ORDER
At the moment, we take orders only via email. Please use full product names or codes provided in our brochure.

PAYMENT
Orders must be paid in full at the time of order and the shipping cost should be paid once your order is ready for delivery.
All orders must be paid in full prior to the shipping date.
Wholesale orders are payable via Bank Transfer.
Our bank details will be shown on your invoice.

PRICE
The wholesale price is set in advance, and the retail price suggested is an indicative price based on our own retail website. While this is not mandatory, we kindly ask our stockists, whenever possible, not to sell our products below the recommended price. However, feel free to offer similar bundles just like we do on our website.


STOCK AVAILABILITY
All of our products are handmade by us in small batches. Therefore, while we aim to ship all orders as soon as possible, it can sometimes take up to 6 weeks if one or more products are out of stock.
Upon confirming your order we will inform you of the expected shipping date and of any product that may not be available at the time. Placing your orders in advance will allow us to plan our production ahead and keep a constant supply flow.

SHIPPING
We ship orders with tracked services from Parcel Force, Hermes or DHL. The shipping rate depends on the weight of the parcel and the destination. We will calculate the total for you once we’ve received your order.
The products supplied by The Cambridge Soap Company are delivered at the risk of The Cambridge Soap Company unless a customer stipulates a special method of delivery. However, liability for the loss of the delivery shall be limited to the replacement of the products, or to a full refund of the invoice value.

DAMAGED GOODS
Should you receive damaged goods please notify us via email within 48 hours. Please include images. All such products will be replaced – according to availability – or they will be refunded. We will cover shipping expenses for any damaged products. To be eligible for a return, we require pictures taken and emailed to us. Your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

REFUNDS

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since the date of receiving, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.


Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.


If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. We reserve the right to offer an account credit in substitute of a refund at our discretion, in the form of a code to use against any future purchases.

RETURN SHIPPING
To return your product, you should mail your product to: THE CAMBRIDGE SOAP COMPANY, ELBA, SCHOOL LANE, CHITTERING, CAMBRIDGE, CB25 9PW, United Kingdom

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over £50, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

SHELF LIFE
We produce all-natural products without adding any preservatives so we recommend using our products within 6 months of purchase. However, our handmade soaps will last even longer, but the natural scents of the essential oils may fade with time.

STORAGE
Our products must be kept in a cool and dry environment. Damp and warm conditions can damage handmade soaps and bath bombs. We recommend keeping any off-shelf stock in airtight containers lined with parchment paper. To provide the best storage conditions, we recommend adding a couple of bags of Silica Gel to each container. Salt bars must be kept in a separate containers from other soaps.

DISTRIBUTORS
Please note that at this time The Cambridge Soap Company is the only approved B2B distributor of The Cambridge Soap Company products.

CUSTOM LABELS
We happy to create custom labelled soap bars for your business, corporate gifts or favours for a wedding or baby shower.

  • Private label: our logo will be replaced with your logo with "by The Cambridge Soap Company" written below. The sides and the back of the label will remain the same. 
  • Personalised labels for wedding and baby shower favours: the front of the label can be 100% customised (eg.: name of the couple with date or name of the baby with born date)

OUR HANDMADE PRODUCTS
Please consider that as our products are handmade in small batches, they may vary in size, shape, weight, scent and colour. Natural variations are a beautiful part of our product and should be expected and are not ground for a refund or replacement.
